There's at least a 50/50 chance some horrible fanbase full of entitled crusty bandwagon cuntrags gets a Super Bowl this year...God damn it that's supposed to be us!

You sure about that? I remember very specifically reading an article a few years ago by a guy who sat next to a speaker and could hear that they were pumping in crowd noise. It's possible things have changed since, but they did at one point recently (as do several other teams).
The NFL announced an investigator showed up and didn't hear it being pumped in, so there you go. Everyone knows that the NFL is on top of things like this.

I'd expect more stadiums to be built to figure out how to 'amplify' fans noise 100 fold <without speakers of course..> so pretty soon road victories in the NFL, a league built on coaching and adjustments, will become rare.

The comedy will be when the Seahawks go to the Super Bowl and lose by 40 because they aren't at home.

So home field advantage doesn't mean anything to the Seahawks, because the Panthers were good at home and San Fran beat them? Ok I guess.

The fact remains that the last two times the 49ers played in Seattle, the Seahawks made them look like bitches. Absolutely embarrassed them. Until the 49ers can put their big boy pants on and actually compete in Centurylink, you're going to have to hear about it
Yes. I hate to admit to it, but it is true. The 49ers have looked embarrassingly bad their last 2 trips to Seattle, and now they are going up there with much more on the line than those last 2 times.

However, the 49ers are playing great and Arizona proved they aren't unbeatable at home. Maybe the Seattle offense has slowed down because teams have figured out Wilson the same way teams figured out Kaepernick and were able to slow him down quite a bit this year compared to last year, thereby exploiting their flaws. I hope the 49ers can continue that and shut him down. I do believe their defense will have a great game again, but I am extremely worried about Kaepernick and the offense.

If nothing else I hope it is a good, competitive game, and the 49ers don't shit the bed like the last couple times up there.

I dont even think Kaepernick needs to have a great game to win. He just needs to have an Alex Smith like performance with a few plays with his legs sprinkled in and they will be good. This game kind of reminds me of the 2011 NFC title game against the Giants. The G-Men had a strong, strong defense and were very physical, and not many people thought the Niners would win (and they didnt, sadly). I could see a similar type game being decided late via mistakes.

Seattle is the only place I've seen Kaepernick get really rattled. With that exception he has tended to have his best performances in big games, but Seattle has definitely gotten into his head on previous trips up there. Hopefully more experience and the fact that Arizona beat them at home and then the 9ers beat AZ at home will make it less intimidating. I think it could be true that if they get behind early it could turn ugly again though.

No, the 49ers won that game against the Giants. Then Kyle Fucking Williams single handedly gave the Giants the win by fumbling two fucking punts in a row for 10 free points at the end of the game.

Amazingly, no one followed through on their threats to shoot that guy. I think it's fucking cruel and hysterical that Alex Smith has to play with him again after that shit.

Right now the 49ers offense is clicking better. Unless Seattle plays better than their last couple games I think San Francisco will win. That being said I hope the Seahawks shit all over them.

If the Super Bowl has this raging blizzard that is being predicted, then which team would have the edge out of the remaining four based on what you folks have seen?

He should just put on those sweet Beat headphones of his so he can hear what he wants and avoid getting flustered by the crazy fans.

I just don't see how you can make that kind of statement. Both offenses are fucking anemic. Yes, their defenses are both fucking awesome, but someone has to score some points. I don't know that either team will win the Super Bowl with their QB throwing for 100 yards.
Revisiting this idea, here are the passing yards for the winning teams so far in the playoffs:
436, 214, 122, 249, 103, 185, 189, 230 (avg. 216)

Kaepernick reg season average: 200 (226 since Crabtree's return)
Wilson reg season average: 210

These numbers don't take into account that Wilson and Kaepernick have an added dimension that Brady/Manning don't, which is ~ another 33 yards per game rushing.

I'm pretty sure the 49ers were heavy favorites in that game

If they were favored it shoudlnt have been by much, and it was probably due to SF's high seeding (and being at home) and the Giants being a wildcard team, but as the Giants showed they were a good team and won it all.

And I didnt even want to talk about fucking Kyle Williams, but THANKS.

That was one of the most painful losses as a fan, with the SuperBowl loss being a lot worse for me though. Getting beat by Spray Spray and Joe Fucking Flacco makes me really, really sad, and mad at the same time. I couldnt even watch the "IM GOING TO DISNEYWORLD" commercial. It literally made me sick.

Fuck the Ravens haha, didnt even make the Playoffs and Flacco is back to his old shit self.

I also want to give a hearty FUCK YOU shout out to all the faggots on here who cruelly predicted Kaepernick would get injured out of spite, yet he finds himself on the precipice once again whilst most of those same poster's teams are watching from home.

Either way the game will be great. Harbaugh and Carroll hate each other. Teams are going to be at each others throats. Fans win. I think the winner will take it all.

Barnwell makes a pretty compelling arguement that it's a really weird match as Whisenhunt isn't known for helping QBs figure shit out.

I think either the 49ers or Seahawks are well built to win in bad weather. The Broncos are the team that it would affect the most negatively I think.
