I know Ryan Mathews isn't very good, but when you have the ball on the one yard line and he's had two 100-yard games in a row, why give it to Danny Woodhead? It reminds me of when we had Sproles and kept trying to run him up the middle on the goal line and it failed comically 99% of the time. Mathews had been running well all game but I think he got one carry in the second half. At times it seems like NFL coaches try to be too clever for their own good. Woodhead is a great pass catcher and he can sneak out some yards when the defense has to fear the pass. On the goal line, he either scores a TD any other running back would score anyways, or he gets stuffed by the slightest contact because he is five feet tall.

The Jets are such a weird team

Lose against the Steelers
Win against the Patriots
Lose by 40 to the Bengals
Win against the Saints

Yeah, makes sense

That unnecessary roughness call on the Chargers... what a joke. Defender turns around and the receiver leans forward into his helmet = penalty on the defense. Chargers don't deserve to win this anyways due to their horrid goal line offense to end the game, but it's sad that the refs are gifting yardage like that in overtime.

They should have won before this OT.

There have been a few ridiculous personal fouls today, and a ton this season. It's really making a lot of these games pretty sour since they're such massive penalties.

The defenseless receiver penalty against San Diego was utter horseshit. Between that and their hilarious goal line play calling even the Redskins could bring home the Big W.

Yeah officiating in that game was crap. That referee and his crew is always bad. Skins did get screwed earlier on that Woodhead fumble that was not overturned with 5 mins left and Skins up 10. Skins win easily if that is called a fumble correctly.
