I could see that happening since he is having the best season of his career. Going out on top. On the other hand he clearly has fuel left in the tank.

Saw a article somewhere a couple weeks ago where it seemed some of it depends on a checkup he has in march to check to see if his neck has deteriorated at all or not.

I obviously don't have the competitive drive someone like Manning does but if I won at his age after the year he had I would hang it up. Why risk the injury to your neck .

I agree, neck is dangerous and the chance of some degree of paralysis would freak me out.

If it were me, I would've never played another snap in the NFL. But I suppose when it's all you've known for so long, your thinking is a bit skewed.

Yeah but if you've been playing football ever since high school or even earlier, you've been desensitized to the possibility of permanent injury for your entire adult life and then some.

Just got home....

That sucked to watch. But the Broncos were clearly the better team and Manning was the better QB in that game.
