while i am a patriots homer, i hate the omg going to the superbowl shit that is starting, while i would love it, i am trying to be...realistic until at least 4 more weeks. they beat the billsx2 and the colts i will be SB or bust mode..split bills and beat colts i will be on the "should make the conference finals maybe the superbowl. lose 2 of the next three, then be happy they made the playoffs and MAYBE get to the conference finals.

they still have the tough part of the schedule this next 4 weeks + the last 2 games.
the colts are hot- playing well colts could win.
the bills are playing well bills could win one or both games.
miami is playing well- and historically the pats SUCK at miami (it could be a brady thing -shrug) at the end of the year.
and well jacksonville is sucky

pats win the next 5 and they most likely be the #1 seed.

their biggest threats for the #1 seed are imo the ravens and the chiefs

the ravens have 6 games left to play: the packers, the bengals (omg they are good this year) rams, steelers twice and the browns. in my opinion they will lose 2 or 3 of those games due to how they are currently playing. they win out, they are the #1 seed, they finish with the same record as the pats and the pats win on tiebreakers i believe.

the chiefs have 6 games left. their defense is playing better, and their offense is playing better as well bronco's x2 steelers bengals chargers raiders.
they play well, they could win all 6.

the weirdest configuration would be if the 3 of them finish tied. i BELIEVE(i could be wrong) the pats would win the tiebreakers if they finish 13-4 or even 12-5. the seeding would be pats ravens chiefs due to the pats having the best conference record of the 3.

AFC has way too many important games remaining to predict right now. We're approaching Week 13 and there are no teams with losing records in both the AFC West and AFC North. And then the Bills and Pats still have to duke it out. And with the Colts coming on how and the Titans dealing with a ton of injuries the AFC South could see some movement late in the season as well.

Chiefs were my pick at the beginning of the season to win the AFC and they still are. They had a minor slump but they've been back to their winning ways for a month now.

After Brady winning a title in his FIRST year after leaving NE, people were quick to take shots at Bill's legacy.

But he has proven time and time again that he is a fantastic coach, and this year might be the best example yet. He has turned a middling defense with Matt Judon as the center-piece into a top 3 defense in the league. And that is after trading away the defensive player of the year for peanuts!

The more impressive thing IMO though, is the manner in which his system and ethos is able to penetrate any player or personality. Whether its a troubled veteran with baggage (Moss), a young rookie (Mac Jones) or a serial killer (Hernandez), he is able to extract the very best out of anyone who walks through the door.

Look at Kendrick Bourne. In San Francisco he was unreliable and not much of a factor. He wasnt useless, but surely wasnt an important part of the team. First year in New England and suddenly the guy is turning into a borderline WR1 who is now being counted on to win 50/50 balls in prime time situations....

Im not sure if Bill is a better coach or developer of talent. If he was a good evaluator of talent he would have 10 super bowl titles or more.

At least Pittsburgh Panthers are an actual team.

Not shocking but Rodgers was getting rid of the ball quick as shit against the Rams. Von played well I thought. The Niners ran the ball down the Rams throats to minimize pass rush and he didn't play against the Titans.

Not as easy to get your pass rush going when you're losing bigly every game because your offense hands points to the other team.

The only way to put a final note on that trade is IF and when the Rams make the playoffs. (and perhaps if they decide to resign him)

AB still injured as well so 3 games doesn't mean shit. Might miss one additional game (after injury time) but that's basically it. Better to have him fully healthy for playoffs anyway.
