I actually agree with Steven A, it is Kaepernick-like. Both cases you have a me-first player of questionable talent that will bring along a giant media circus and a bunch of teams noping out of that bullshit. Where I differ - I really don't think there's any collusion going on in either case, it's just a scenario of teams recognizing the juice isn't worth the squeeze. If Sanders was a no-doubt top tier prospect, he's drafted first round even with all the baggage. Reality is, he looked kind of shaky in one of the shittiest conferences and his biggest knock is probably the biggest red flag of all - he holds on to the ball too damn long.
The Browns are one of the only teams dumb enough to step on these rakes consistently - Johnny Football, Watson, now this. They were very close to biting on Kaepernick too - they just ended up going for a washed up RGIII instead. The 5th round isn't that bad at least - except for the whole drafting a QB in the 3rd already. If the plan all along is to go Sanders, might not be a bad idea to upgrade the supporting cast.

NO idea why they snagged a running back in the second we have...OK backs already.
BUUUUUT goddamn I never heard of Kyle Williams until he hit the Pats. Dude looks fuckin awesome! Everything I read says he has the dropsies every now and then and a 4.4 40, which dropped his stock. But everything I seen of this dude pulls away from everyone. I HOPE this dude pans out. I think he will be a star! (PLEASE be a star)
And Campbell. This dudes arms are what, half an inch too short or some shit. Mofo arms looks fine to me on those pancakes. I'm cool with this pick.

Packers: B+
The general consensus at the end of the season was the Packers needed a real legitimate #1 WR, and Golden gives us that while also giving us the room to not burn through our 2026+ salary resigning at market prices all the WRs whose rookie deals are about to expire (cough*Watson*cough).
Beyond that, having to (expensively) sign Aaron Banks in the offseason proved the O Line cupboards were bare, so the second round pick makes sense. Restocking the D-line also made sense.
My biggest concern is we didn't get enough CB fills; we have to both hope Jaire Alexander stays in one piece and will likely be watching the CB roster cuts from other teams during the pre-season.

God I hate the off season. I don't want to tell Google News not to show me news stories about my team but this time of year it's just non-stop garbage articles with people who know nothing randomly speculating about the draft and free agency and contract negotiations and writing bullshit click-bait headlines that sound like something has happened for terrible articles with absolutely zero content.
