what makes you think Lawrence, Manhattan, and Lubbock would be in the conference?

I liked Gruden's idea of having other teams play during championship weekend for playoff spots. The championship game teams are in + the winners of the play in games. I think the lowest ranked team is left off if duke wins

Still in shock that IU beat Ohio State. I remember going to an IU v Ohio State game freshmen year. Ohio State rocked us by like 40+ or something. There were more OSU fans in the stands, I swear.

On the video. Didn't realize the college playoffs where that messed up.

I don’t mind it at all but this just seems like a more convoluted way of saying “expand to 16-18 teams”

Maybe just make it so the conference Championships are always playing for a Bye

Cutting down to two conferences that matter plus the occasional ACC team is what really got us in this mess. That and ND being gay as fuck.

That didn’t get us into this mess. Pretending there is a P4 is what has made this mess. There is just a P1.5, the SEC and top 6 in the B1G. The SEC, especially with 9 conference games next year, is just on a completely different level. No other conference is remotely close. Even B1G teams have 2-3 real games and then a bunch of G5 level.

Why can’t you take the lead from your coach, man?

Steve Sarkisian speaking on Sunday in Texas' Citrus Bowl press conference: "It's an honor and privilege to be part of the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl against a great opponent in Michigan."

LOL is Notre Dame's AD complaining that the ACC lobbied for Miami to make it over ND, something they are obligated to do for a member school, and whose entire membership gets a payout for making it?

Seriously the single independent school is complaining that the ACC didnt bow down to them. Pure entitlement of an obsolete program.

The Faggot Irish are truly the Israel of College football.

I know it feels like sour grapes to everyone, and maybe it is. Whatever. The ACC is sweating though. Notre Dame considering pulling their enter sports program out of the ACC, and that would be a substantial revenue loss for the conference.

Whatever is right or wrong, collage football is in a weird spot with playoffs, bowl games, and money for students.

And where is ND going to go? B1G will tell you to fuck right off without football. All P4 should refuse to schedule ND.

It's utterly ridiculous and way past time the rest of college football quit enabling these whiny faggots. Join a conference or lose playoff football.

ND has just as much claim to the Southeast as Missouri does IMO! They’d be solidly Texas/A&M tier

No one gives a shit about any ND sports except football. The only other money making sport AT ALL is Men's Basketball. And ND hasn't been good in that in DECADES. You have NOTHING to threaten the ACC with.

Women's basketball, softball, hockey (but not this year so much), golf, Lacross, blah blah blah. They actually have quite a few successful sports, none of them have the popularity of football, but it would be a very big blow to the ACC financially.

NONE of those programs are financially positive. Every single one is a money loser. Notre Dame football is reported to be worth $143 million. You aren't even top 25, though in schools. Fucking ILLINOIS is a bigger financial revenue generator than you guys. So fuck off with your "THEY WILL MISS US!!!" bullshit.

Leading off with womens sports is hilarious. As others said, its a money loss. the only womens programs that make money is UCONN, LSU, Baylor and Iowa womens basketball the rest are title 9 forced losses.

Sure they are good programs, but they wont cost any money to the ACC.

Their only leverage is to say " we wont schedule ACC games anymore" which does have value for TV rights and ticket sales, but not enough to hold a whole conference hostage.

ND overplayed their hand like a fat girl on a friday night.

Now they are alone eating a pizza and wondering where it went wrong.
