We’ve got 3 years of proof the sec is shit. Miami would beat bama (and OU) too as would ND. Think the NIL/playoff transition has changed things in a way I didnt see coming. It sucks ass
With a sprinkling of Anchorman and Ricky Bobby.Mendoza at the mic is great, like grok and ric flair had a kid
The same UGA that got shit on by ND not 12 months ago? This isn’t reactionary based on Bama getting dicked today, it’s a trend. A trend that has continued for 3 years and doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon, now that everybody’s paying players. SEC car dealership donors aren’t an advantage anymore and watching these games the sec teams all look very ACC.You seem to be forgetting UGA. OSU has been the cream of the B10 for years. Just because Cignetti has done an amazing job doesn't mean the entire B10 is suddenly the only true competitive grouping. They've got 18 teams and maybe 4 good ones this year, 6 solid ones every year? That's not worthy of this kind of post. There's at least 6 solid SEC teams every year as well. I wouldn't mind Miami and FSU joining the SEC and maybe adding two to each super conference to get to a 2 conference playoff setting similar to the AFC/NFC.

Bowl Records by year:
2023
big 10 6-4
sec 5-4
michigan national champ against future big 10 Washington
2024
big 10 11-6
sec 8-7
ohio state champ vs ND
2025
big 10 9-4
sec 3-7
tbd, but if Oregon and Indy were on opposite sides of bracket I’d heavily bet that as the nc game.
also, I like none of these Midwest shit bird teams. They’re just clearly better, like the sec used to be. Sure Ohio state would occasionally fluke a title but bama vs uga or whoever just looked a level above on the field.
Not sure, but there was definitely a bunch of goofy stuff. Agree completely. With the diminishing relevance of bowls, the bowl/sponsor need to make it a spectacle regardless of the play on the field. This bowl and the Pop Tart bowl really do understand the level of crazy these bowl games need to shoot for. Doesn't each team get a yellow/red Cheezit suite in the hotel for some players?
Miami also just beat an a$m sec team on the road two weeks ago? Notre Dame didn’t get back in bc a dogshit sec got 5 playoff teams in, that’s the point. Michigan is bad this year I agree and had the same record as bama, again that’s the point. A conference that hasn’t played in the national championship game since 22 shouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt three years later, particularly as their postseason performances have proven how far off the teams are. The playoff losses sec teams have had have been hysterical lopsided ass beatings unless they’re playing each other rofl. So if recent playoff performances should have no bearing on playoff inclusion, what metric are we using to jigger-rig the playoffs for sec teams that have done fuck all since every conference started openly paying players?
Bro that was obvious sarcasm lolYou can't just use short term stats and paying players as the defacto rule so quickly. The SEC is full of money so 'paying players' is something they can do really easily. You're trying to say 6 B10 teams will be this good every year and that's just not been true. It changes every year. Like I said, Miami is far better this year, Notre is worse, OSU is obviously worse, Indiana stronger, etc, etc. Your original statement adjusted to the 8 best teams should be the defacto. If it's six B10, then so be it but it won't be. Because it's never been that way. Ever.
Same record as Michigan which won a championship more recently but Alabama got the RoseBowl. That SEC bias needs to fucking die.Wow, Alabama got hammered. That might be one of the worst losses they have had in years.
