I couldn't watch any of this game. Looking at the box score - what happened with the Eagles passing game? AJ Brown had only one target? Was Dallas' run defense just that bad all night? Did they never try to spy Hurts?

Passing game - basically the cowboys were collapsing the pocket pretty consistently and jalen was squirting out and getting firsts with his legs. I wanna say in the 4th quarter they mentioned he hadn't even thrown a pass to a wideout. Or maybe nothing but short passes. I forget the wording they used. It was because he couldn't and frankly didn't need to. We didn't see a punt from either team until after the lightning delay.

The cowboys run defense wasn't bad if you don't count the scrambles. 158 yards total, 62 were jalen, and I think only the last one was a designed run. Early in the game the cowboys were playing a lot of man coverage with no spy on hurts. Later on they switched it up to zone and contained him better. But I'm not sure if they ever employed the spy.

It was Hurts hadn’t thrown a single ball to Brown all game, and it would be the first game in Brown’s career he doesn’t receive a single target. He received one at the end of the game.

Strength of the Cowboys defense is the secondary, which helped. DEs and LBs (at least until Overshown returns) are complete trash.

IMO this only reinforces the trade. the brought good pressure on the pass game and just need to adjust on hurts next time.

Glad you had a chance to say that now before micah gets 5 sacks on sunday. Looks like Goff is the sacrificial lamb. How is the lions O-line, anyway? They didn't have to face micah last year.

oline when healthy is great. but the point is they still get pressure and forced dude to scramble and shut the pass game down. that is pretty damn good
