Just for a guy and just anything Cowboy related being as "in the news" as normal, I find it a little surprising nothing managed to leak out. But it could just be very, very few knew.

With 1 second left in the half? I guarantee that attempt gets made if they are certain he can at least put it past the end zone to avoid a run-back.

That kind of certainty doesn't exist with long field goals though. I'm pretty sure Janikowski in his prime could easily kick it out of the back of the endzone from 76 yards away but when he tried kicking a field goal from that distance it was fielded at the 5 yard line.

Yeah tell me about it. When I was in the MIDDLE of brain tumor recovery (radiation every day + chemo) I had to have a melanoma out of margins removed.
Because FUCK ME , that's why!

Their kicker has a hell of a leg. He's one of the few that I think it would get tried most of the time there with just 1 second left in the half.

Talking to my MIL , we were discussing holidays. We both agreed that Thanksgiving was the best holiday. She said it was because it wasn't as commercialized as the other holidays and we got to spend it with family. I said ,well I liked it because the temp was cooler, we got to eat really good food, and NFL was on TV all day but your idea works too!

We did thanksgiving in Vegas in 2009 and it was bad ass. Bachanaal buffet with all the thanksgiving good was so good.

When I did a vacation in Vegas we stayed at the time shares by Southpoint. I spent all Sunday in the betting area watching ALL the games. It was glorious.....except for the smoking.

This guy does a really good job of breaking down the new Patriots kick-off blocking scheme. I don't expect this to last into the regular season with other NFL teams get their hands on the tape.
