Tee Higgins misses a game for a concussion, clear to return. Plays yeterday, starts off great and scores a TD.
Proceeds to bounce his head off the frozen ground. Sits down for a minute waiting for help from trainers pointing at his head. He is clearly rattled and hurt.
They take him to the tent. then They put him back on the field.
He drops a ball, then a few plays later takes another hit. Something seems off about him.
He goes to the tent a 2nd time. He is again cleared.
He catches a 2nd touchdown then hits the ground hard again, and for a 3rd time goes to the tent to be checked out.
HE IS AGAIN cleared to play.
Today they announce he is back in concussion protocol.
Sickening.
The NFL should just admit they dont care about player safety. The only way the can save face here is a investigation into the Bengals staff with major punishments and fines.
But this is the NFL. Just like has happened every single week nothing will be done, and next week another team will be in the cross hairs.
