Lamar is a loser. As a Chargers fan I can recognize one.
As a cowboys fan who has watched great regular season QBs lose in the playoffs for 3 decades, I concur.

Kittle is out for 3-5 weeks, Purdy is banged up and may not play next week, Jennings probably not playing for a while.

After further review, the Bears still suck. They looked good in the first half, but if you really dig into the stats they still only managed 10 points of offense (that Pick 6 was a gift from JJ McCarthy) and never really moved the ball after the second quarter, outside of one garbage time TD. Their D appeared to be gassed after two quarters and the pressure on McCarthy basically evaporated. In other words, same old Bears. Bonus Bears moment was them handing over all momentum by attempting to get a FG from that incredibly shittty place kicker they have who could barely hit a 40 last year consistently, handing the Vikes a short field and basically the entire game from that point forward. Williams was not bad, but his hardcount caused more Bears penalties than it affected the Vikings D and he had very little help from anyone else on Offense.

For the Vikes part, McCarthy had a really rough start. They were able to get their shit together in the second half just enough to beat the Bears, but that O Line and McCarthy's throwing technique are not going to get it done against a real team. Their defense was ok, but they are going to need to focus on not giving up big plays, especially QB runs, if they want to beat good teams. And they need to figure out how to protect their new QB or he is not going to make it to the end of the season. His jersey was a mess from the number of hits and pressures he got and the Bears D is not all that special.

Having said all that, the game was objectively entertaining and competitive, which is nice for a MNF game. My Packers probably had the best statement win of the week, but you could argue the Chargers raised some expectations as well. And that Ravens Meltdown Sunday was one for the ages. That kind of shit will haunt a team long term. It is starting to appear that Denver got overhyped and the Dolphins are going to go into rebuild mode around week five. Also, shoutout to Russel Wilson lasting exactly one game as a starter before getting the hook in New York LOL.

Speaking of Wilson - It's wild that a single play by Malcolm Butler takes him from probably a first-ballot Hall of Famer to possibly not making the HoF at all.

Russel Wilson has been one hell of a salesman so far. The dude was only good behind a generational RB, amazing defense, and ability to get out of jams with his legs. Once those 3 failed him, he's shown himself to be a below average player that still gets some starting gigs for a little while.

Moving on from that, I wonder if Cooper Manning wants to coach the Dolphins........lol.

Legion of Boom era Wilson was great to watch as an athlete but god damn it's been a sad career sunset for him. And all the rumors about him being full of himself turned out to be true.
