the only issue i have with the patriots "slurping" that is going on right now is...they are winning the games they are SUPPOSED to win...and got lucky once.

they win most of the next 5 games and win @home vs buffalo again, then and ONLY then will i give them a shot in the playoffs, right now on D they are KILLED on the short mediom throw on defense vs the tight end/RB/receiver why teams don't do that for 3/4 of the game i have no idea..

offensively...i have no complaints. they could use a bit of o-line help against the really good DE's in the league.

it is a BIT early to crown them...but from what i can see..they seem to be getting back to the winning side of the league.

and yes i DO have a bet for them to make the playoffs and another to win the superbowl, but only 5 bucks on each bet (win 410? if the pats win the superbowl).

Let's be blunt, the Patriots lucked out getting the 2025 AFC North, NFC South (hell, even the Bucs are beat to hell), and four total games vs the Dolphins and Jets*.

But their only quality win so far was vs the Bills - and they didn't even manage to beat the Steelers.

They're absolutely in the playoffs, and may well win the division if the Bills screw up even another game against a middling team like they did vs the Falcons, but I see nothing definitive _yet_ about the Patriots being a real playoff contender or sustaining success next season.

*If anything, the Patriots success this year just makes the failure of the Dolphins and Jets all the more apparent.

Pats just have to play their best football in the playoffs to win it all.

look at the 2011 giants middling team 9-7 record regular season, played their BEST ball in the playoffs = superbowl winner

now for players, time will tell but from all appearances so far, MAYE seems to be a legit franchise QB, which is good.

You all are over complicating this. They are in 1st in the division because they have the easiest schedule evvvvveeeeeer. I expect them to get bounced in the first round, simply because the O-Line is still bad.

depends, i think they can get past the first round depending on their opponent.

it all depends on how they play.

yes there is a chance... right now they have about a 10% (according to the gambling sites) to make the superbowl

The most important thing you need to know from the game tonight is there was a Chili's commercial for a 3 for me lunch deal for 10.99. I paid $12.50 for a whopper with cheese meal in the DFW area last week.


The food quality is probably only marginally better. Obviously you shouldn't be eating out anymore because the food quality is garbage, but if you have to, I feel like you should know about this.

He will be fine. Someone will snatch him up to be an OC tomorrow.

Miami will continue to languish after him. It's not going to matter what they do because Chris Grier will still be the GM.

I had it and it's pretty damn good. Quality is superior and I got it to go so no extra charges. I got the Big Mac version and would do it again. No fuck ups, better service, better quality. Now back to the gam....nvm, let's talk about something else besides this being the easiest way to reintroduce Lamar back to playing full speed.

The only way McDonalds is going to be an OC is if he learns how to manage the clock and getting his calls in on time.

No sign McDaniel is edit: immediately getting fired, so presumably they want the GM hired to pick up the new coach once they know who to go after at the end of the season.

Three words for you: Jim Bob Cooter.

Tua can't realistically be bounced until 2027, but lord knows The Dolphins need quite a few pieces.
