I thought this was an interesting if a bit overproduced watch:

TL;DR is that because the three point revolution became such a focus of the offense and defense, two point shots are now more efficient than any other kind of shot (when that didn't use to be the case), including threes. Defenders are shorter and weaker (because being faster and more agile is better for defending the three) and there's less inside help defense because of the threat of threes, so a post up can eat. Only real caveat here is that there aren't a ton of high quality post players compared to shooters and iso players. So there might be a bit of a regression to the past in years to come as more teams start to incorporate this correction.

Does Las Vegas have a fanbase for an NBA Team? Seattle sure. Las Vegas?
Vegas is a melting pot market. Would you have believed they would have one of the highest grossing NHL teams right now? Basketball is gonna smash there.

I think of Vegas as one of those cities where people are...drifters if that makes sense.

I get it. You also dont need the Vegas team to be success. Its such a travel destination that many people will go there to see their team play because its Vegas. My buddy has been to every NHL/NBA arena in the country. And he said Vegas is in his top 2 for experience.

T-Mobile arena is awesome. Been to a few NHL games and UFC's there and it is always a great time. Pre-gaming out on the exterior elevated-balconies and drinking $30 beers feels good man.
