The Spurs offense looked so terrible in these second halves. Like, they had no plan at all, just run around and hope.

Biggest choke job in basketball ever. I think they led in every game but one until the last few minutes. I'm glad the Knicks won though. It might be a while before the next one.

Spurs led for like 75% of the series. Insane chokes in multiple games.

Leonard is heading back to the Raptors for Ingram, Dick, two 1sts, one swapped 1st, and a couple 2nds.

Raptors medical team kept him healthy in 2019...let's see what they can do this year. Defensively, every wing in the East is going to have nightmares going up against Barnes, Leonard, and CMB. Main question is going to be at Center. Can Poeltl stay healthy? Can they package him and some draft picks for someone else if he's not? Sandro just opted out of his player option, so they're really lacking big man depth right now.

He's a stat monster over his career, but he needed Wade, Bosh, and Allen to win in Miami, and they all essentially took pay cuts to make it happen. In the years before he went back to Cleveland, they had (IIRC) 3 #1 draft picks and 2 #4 picks over a 4 year period, which they soon used in trades to build their championship team. Then in LA they had the questionable AD trade when they won. He's never been one to build up and lead a team. I know most teams need some draft and trade luck to win these days, but historically he moves on when things get too tough. He uses his position to influence roster and coaching decisions (including drafting his son), but that hasn't really ever worked out and he leaves messes when he moves on. I am sure the Lakers realized that no big Free Agents wanted to sign with them since Lebron went there, and they should have moved on years ago.

Can someone explain how the Brown/PG trade is supposed to be good? I get you have to take PG to make the contracts work, but only 2 firsts?

Yeah the Knicks deserved a big win after all this time. The Spurs have plenty of titles coming up in the near future. The inexperience of the Spurs handed the win to the Knicks more than anything else, cause on paper the Spurs should have killed them.

Meanwhile, in WNBA news...

It seems like the only time I ever hear about the WNBA is when either Caitlin Clark has a stunning performance, or when other players are tearing down Caitlin Clark about something. Usually the latter. It reminds me of how female crabs yank each other down so nobody can climb out of a boiling pot, whereas male crabs sacrifice themselves to help others get out.

All those dykes should kneel and kiss the ring - she's the reason they have had a huge rise. Before her they were nothing.

Olivia Miles is the best player in the league right now, imho. She's an amazing PG. She's brought the Lynx to the #1 seed with Phee being injured the entire season. Credit has to go to Cheryl Reeve as well. She's really unlocked Olivia.
