Nah, Embiid was like the 4th most important player on that team even before Lebron came. Maxey and Brown are legit all stars in their prime while Edgecombe had a great rookie season and likely takes a step forward this year. Remember these guys eliminated Boston last year after going down 3-1, smoked Boston in 3 straight games, and just swapped Paul George for arguably Boston's best player even after that happened. This was the best fit and most talented basketball group Lebron was able to join out of the teams that were in the mix.

Nah. Brown and Maxie are the 1a 1b. Lebron is now 3rd option. That right there has them competing in The Eastern Conference Championship. Add a healthy Embiid for the playoffs? I'm taking the Sixers over the Knicks in 5. No Emiid? 7.

This was the best option for Lebron and he should be in next year's finals unless some injuries hit late. Probably the most talented overall team he's been on. Who knows how well they end up matching the best of the West, but they should get there.
