are you 70 years old or are you talking about the NFL in general? Because aside from the period between Aikman and Romo the Cowboys have been very stable at the QB position.

Also Sam Darnold just won the Super Bowl. Nick Foles won a Super Bowl against Tom Brady. Trent fucking Dilfer won a Super Bowl.

I am not saying the Cowboys have had it as bad as some of the other teams in the league. But I watched every one of these games, and they were almost all dreadful. Point is, I like Dak. I am grateful for Dak. Oh and I guess he is "black" or something retarded that Bubbles was saying.

As a Cowboys fan, I love Dak. It hasn't been great every season and we have never done anything in the playoffs... but I have lived enough life to know what it's like to have a revolving door of QB's you know give you zero shot at anything. So, I gladly take the Dak era.

With Dak, we have always had a chance. And despite the occasional TMZ headline, he has been a great leader of the team and face of the organization.

Kind of funny how that works with sports teams. You can have a QB or Coach that keeps things competitive but then management wants to change things up and the team craters.

I like to look at Tom Coughlin & the Giants as a good example of that. Won 2 Super Bowls but the fanbase became too entitled and management forced him out in 2016. What have they done since?

Broncos fans were the same way during & after the Manning era. He took the Broncos from a post-Shanahan circus act to legitimate contenders, but the fans cried too much about dumb shit, the team forced him to retire, and they hit loser central for nearly a decade.

Haha they would be a great example.

God damn Minecraft.
A great example of what, preferring the safety of mediocrity rather than aiming to be league champions? Tomlin's only big success came with a team still mostly built by Cowher. In the last 11 seasons under Tomlin the Steelers lost 1 conference championship, 1 divisional round, missed the playoffs 3 times, and had 6 first round exits. That's also me being generous and saying 11 seasons instead of 10 to include the divisional round. If we stretch it to 16 seasons we get his Super Bowl loss but we also get 2 more missed playoffs and 2 more first round exits.

That conference championship appearance was a fluke and Tomlin was never going to take a team of his own to the Super Bowl much less win it. But the one thing he excelled at was being Mr .500, even if they were never a threat to go the distance they were also never an outright embarrassment under Tomlin.
