So this sounds like they indeed put him on blood thinners, which would also suggest it is for the season not just the minimum 4 weeks

It sounds like six weeks is the bare minimum he'd be out, but by that point the Eagles' season will likely be a wash and they'll keep him shelved regardless.

Remember, the Eagles are keeping Lane Johnson on the active roster for the rest of the year because they can't take the dead money hit if he gets processed as retired. They have no money (as in cap space) to bring in anyone else.

Except the eagles picked up Joe Milton from the cowboys practice squad. So they're set and fated to lose to the cowboys in the NFC championship game.

Unless you're a divisional rival, the Chargers' incompetence isn't even fun to watch.

Hell, if the Dolphins can squeak out a win next week vs the Jets, the Chargers would be the last winless team in the league. Talk about not hitting expectations.

Speaking of not hitting expectations, are the Rams really about to go 2-4?

I still think they make the playoffs, but having to deal with the 49ers / Seahakws / Vikings on the road isn't going go be great for their chances.

Edit: And Davante Adams goes hobbling off after a non-contact. Not a great sign for the near future.
