would be fun to have cameras following him around for this
Does SF even want this dude anymore?

It was a completely noob QB, on a short week, against a rough defense, in a storm.Man imagine how miserable it would be to be at this game, be a ravens fan and see your team get curb stomped in cold rain. I actually felt sorry for the ravens QB when the threw that int.
I saw him listed as a 'walk on' (don't watch NFL with sound usually) and they kept showing his family / wife guess that was all they had for hype? Shame it's probably his biggest day and it was a complete shit show. As far as Lamar, I've never considered him elite, he looks like someone who would rob a house than win a game but what do I know, I'm a Panthers fan? LolIt was a completely noob QB, on a short week, against a rough defense, in a storm.
Oh yeah, and they don't have the offensive line to go run heavy (if not all run).
But the larger issue is the Ravens are much closer to a rebuild than a championship. I still think the actual reason Harbaugh was ousted was a behind the scenes power struggle over Lamar's long term future.
And that future is still very much not settled. His contract fiddling this year just gave the Ravens some cap space to work with for this year. Next year, however, Lamar has a $84 Million cap hit, and a $74 Million dead money hit. (He also has a no-trade clause.) So they either need to sign Lamar, a guy who turns 30 before the season ends, to a new long term contract, where the odds that he's still playing, much less well, by the end of it are near zero, or bite the bullet and do a near complete rebuild.
Did I mention the Ravens have the least 2027 cap space in the league, at $55M over the 2026 cap (we won't know 2027 caps for a bit, but most think it won't be a massive increase)? If anything, the Ravens should be tanking to improve their QB options.
So literally a fight over nothing?a behind the scenes power struggle over Lamar's long term future
