I liked this franchise more when he was just ripping off Day of the Triffids.

I only noticed there was a part 1 last week, which I started watching.

Halfway I alt tabbed out to read the ask amod thread, which provided far better entertainment. Hope that says enough.

The other one was pretty lackluster, but I enjoyed the stuff with Ralph Fines, and I guess I'm interested to see all of the wackiness with the blonde wig religious zealots. Pretty sure the leader is the kid from the opening scene of the first movie that was hiding in the church and just driven crazy. If it's just a bonkers movie, could be worth streaming.

Don't waste your time. It only gets worse the further into the movie you go.

I don't know what to think at this point. Yeah it might be bad, but I think it'll be worth a watch because the most interesting aspect of the last movie was everything with the Bone Temple and Ralph Fines. If he's the protagonist throughout, could be a decent movie, even if it's just completely off the rails.

I'm going to watch it at some point but I'm not going to go to the damn movie theater for it.

Forum one star rating for a movie that hasn't come out yet.

Must be terrible soon.

This was a substantially better then 28 Years, and where the meat and potatoes of the story missing in the first ended up. Its hard for me to avoid horror films and was tepid going into it, I was geneuinelly enjoying it all but the second Ralph Fiennes started fire dancing to his Iron Maiden record and it was just ridiculously good I knew this was a good film. All the Jimmy's stuff paid off (and lead Jimmy is amazing and terrifying), Spike grew as a character, and where they will take the infected for the 3rd (they are doing it), will be super interesting. Getting away from how Danny Boyle directs surprisingly was the way to go.

Small penis'd individuals still may feel uncomfortable (tho there is less then that), but its extremely well shot and directed, fantastically acted, and you get
Cillian Murphy
at the end (and the 3rd flick).

I didn't realize there was going to be a third. Did they already shoot that one, too?

No it was always contingent on the 2nd one doing well, and the early buzz and returns greenlit it. Its already written, and will have VERY strong actor, so hopefully they can wrap it up nicely.
