Angry Orchard fan here but I do think I might give this a go. Always on the lookout for good hard ciders. Haven't found one with just the right 'kick' I want.

I've had pretty decent results just looking at the ingredient list. If it's really short and the first one listed is something similar to "hard apple cider" then it's probably pretty good. If the first ingredient is "carbonated water" then it's probably about to get put back on the shelf. There was one of the seasonal Angry Orchards that let me down though. I don't remember exactly which one it was, but some kind of spice blend that was a little too funky for my tastes.

Edit: Although on second thought, now I remember that after letting the funky spicy Angry Orchard sit and collect dust, it did end up tasting good alongside pork chops.
