I liked that chick a lot in the two Happy Death Day movies, so I'll check this out eventually. Thankfully I watched the trailer without sound so I maybe didn't have the entire movie spoiled. Maybe.

Yeah I kind of wish I had done the same. Pretty sure she's a clone.

This was bad, or, mostly, just lazy. The characters did stupid things the entire time, and that's what made the plot progress, so it's not a case of a good movie being lost on the editing room floor; it's badly written and didn't have a chance. It even has a "girl power" slick action line in the end. I had high hopes at the beginning, and I lost all care about 2/3 of the way through; it lasted another 20 minutes, and I just fast-forwarded to the trite ending.

This is not good horror. This is an example of what has been dragging the genre down.

Was she a clone? If you answer, probably best to spoiler.
