My experience is I waste more using inferior models. Company pays for it anywYspeople who don't want to burn asstons of tokens on mundane tasks

I'm also on the $100/month plan at home but at this level I'm nowhere near close to running out yet. But at 20 I could see itwell that certainly changes the calculation.
I'm getting a hell of a lot done on just a little $20/m account. At that scale economizing on model choice seems to help. The latest model always seems to burn token crazy fast and rarely is the task big enough to justify it.
I'm doing this with two games using unity and Claude. It's addictiveI've been using my company's paid copilot to create qol tools for my job. Just me tho.
I'm very tempted to try vibecoding a game in Godot or something. Not to make money... Rather make a game I'd personally love to play.

I've been creating BG3 mods. I'm trying my hand at crafting outfits but this requires Blender. There is a MCP for this and it all works but the output is pretty meh. Not sure if there are any skills to improve this or I just need to wait a couple more months...I'm doing this with two games using unity and Claude. It's addictive
One of our games is 2D (stardew graphics) and it's first pass was the ugliest shit I've ever seen. I had to work a full two days with Claude asking it to refine it and now it's started to look really good.I've been creating BG3 mods. All in all, I think that looks great! One of our games is 2D (stardew graphics) and it's first pass was the ugliest shit I've ever seen. I had to work a full two days with Claude asking it to refine it and now it's started to look really good.
Obviously not fully where I want it, but I haven't looked at code or know anything about graphics

It has a REALLY hard time with perspective.
It's coming along nicely. It's my wife's idea so I'm just really focusing on the engine and 'engineering' aspects of it. Proud of the lighting system as you can see the shadow from the window hahaAll in all, I think that looks great!
like the NFL app, bookmarked it. Good stuff.I've been using a bunch of different AI tools to write various things, as I walk my way up the Vibe coding ladder, getting certs and upskilling myself along the way.
I use Abascus.ai to build an Azure website for some monitoring dashboards, and it did a great job. Explained the whole process, got me set up with needed accounts (all my Azure stuff had been lost to time years ago, when I was still pursuing a Windows Server Admin career path) and a Neon postgres database for the backend. Got it all set up over a long weekend and was able to showcase an idea on Monday we came up with on Thursday.
Used Claude to build this website to monitor NFL games as they are played. Had a buddy build something to allow him to see all of college football at a glance via ESPN sports feed and thought, I need something like that for the NFL. Voila!!
NFL Game Week
Revolutionized my NFL Sunday.
I made this app in Base44 to log my Insulin doses, weight, meals, exercise via photo(actually, it creates a log entry that you have to confirm, so it keeps human-in-the-loop), or you can just make a manual entry, so can export via Google Sheet to give to your Doc or whatever. Has Mascots for the various metrics!
GlideLog — easier logging, clearer trends
Making the mascots was super fun. Will also have CGM integration once I get approved as Dexcom partner, the others will come later, also working on AppleHealth integration. It's PWA for now (you can use on phone by opening in browser) but will have it in Apple Store and Google Play Store once I decide on how I want do that; Base44 is great for Web apps but doesn't do StoreKit at all, so there's extra complexity to get in-app purchases for digital goods/subscriptions done, and same for Google Play; who also require 14? active users. There's the Apple Developers Account, ($99) along with review, etc. Google Play has the same requirement but is a little less ($35/yr and an active device?).
Right now its free to use; at some point I will add a sub after 14-day free trial to cover integration credit usage for the photo analysis. You have to create an account to use it; was a requirement for data security. I read that's death for apps but really this just for me. If anyone else ever uses it, certainly ever pays for it, bonus.
I will probably use Despia or Natively.com to finish out the Apple Store/Google Play store contruction; there are other ways to do it (Run everything through Stripe on the website/export and rebuild through Capacitor for every change, etc. but I don't think I am going to do anything more than let code detect the platform and then send someone to their native store for purchase. Since I always envisioned this as a mobile app, I would have started it somewhere else if I have known about Base44's lack of StoreKit surface. Great for Web apps, not so great for mobile apps although it's doable. I will have an app in the App Store, though.
I am currently using Claude (mostly Opus 5.5) and Godot 4.7.2 to remake-ish Conquest of the New World, on the road to rebuilding Imperialism1/2. I'm at Milestone 4 of 10, game is launchable, you can start a game and move around, uncover fog and discover landmarks. Still so much to do, haven't stressed my 5x Max yet.
These 4x empire-building games I love to play but no one makes ones I enjoy. So much like the app above, I am going to remake/make one for myself and learn about them in the process.
One thing I have learned in the process is how incredibly, incredibly deep and complicated the game building process is. I mean, I knew but I didn't KNOW. After spending a few weeks reading and watching, I have a thimble's understanding of what it must take to make even the most rudimentary of games. AI is the only way I would ever even begin this process, and hats off to every game dev.
I'm curious if you've seen anything coding up companion-extending BG3 mods.I've been creating BG3 mods. I'm trying my hand at crafting outfits but this requires Blender. Haven't seen any mods that add companion content like new story and voice lines. Nothing stops someone from making one, but it'd still be a lot of work even with AI help. If you're thinking new areas, you'd still have to build the environments in Larian's toolkit, and that tool isn't very AI-friendly right now. Maybe later if they add MCP support.I'm curious if you've seen anything coding up companion-extending BG3 mods.
ElevenLabs is so damn good at duplicating voices, I have to imagine some people are using it to duplicate BG3's characters and creating content around it. I can't be the only one that would replay BG3 if there was a mod that brought a better conclusion to the Karlach storyline.
I also can totally imagine people vibe-cloning their favorite party members into Skyrim or other games.
They do but there's lots of other things publishers can use to do the same functions too(layout, etc). My wife is always talking about them as she used to be in publishing and writes. However I'm a dude and can't remember any of the names haha. Most of those big apps/suites are in serious danger, IMO. If these guys are vibe coding Adobe apps that work for basic use cases, thats going to be enough for 95% of users. A lot of those Adobe apps do have features that legitimate publishing professionals probably do use, but I'm also guessing the time for that is passing as a lot of that stuff can be created directly by AI. You need some way to finetune/edit after AI generates you something close, but again thats the basic use case not the "buy the full Adobe package, immediately" use case.
