One of the most influential Animes of all time. Shame R.I.P.

He's in the hard mode ending for one of the greatest games of it's era. Coincidence? I think not.

I had no idea how much this would affect me. I was never big into Dragonball in any of its forms but I have always been aware it, and it feels like its always been around. It was one of the first regularly aired anime and constant meme fodder for 40+ years. All of these creators dying, and narrative creativity itself waning. It feels like we are losing something altogether from culture, not just the West but collectively, music, art, movies, literature etc.

<The Lament of the Rohirrim; in the movies spoken by Theodin as he was being armored at Helm's Deep; In the book it was Aragorn riding to Edoras talking to Legolas>

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?
