The alien has no consistency.
Why the hell does it even know the trailer can be tripped let alone have the ability to rag doll it?
Pretty much, it's just there to ride the plot forward, and for violence and gags.
I really watched the second episode before the next one aired this evening and the whole scene with the Lord Fauntleroy party was just absolutely retarded. It went in there and butchered everybody, but never takes anybody stealthily to go throw them into the hive.
I really think it's writer's room bullshit, and I guess maybe the directors for each of the episodes. Problem is I don't say who wrote or announced it and you have to watch the end credits but then it goes to a stupid modern day music song, and I'm not going to sit there and listen to it. Not like I don't enjoy Tool, or on this week's episode Metallica, but it's just not alien.
I've said it time and time again, this is probably the only stupid movie franchise I care about, and their Star Warsing it up.
I hope I'm wrong and it turns out good despite a couple of bad episodes and just stupid mistakes, but we all know modern day Hollywood, and that's probably not going to be the case.
I think it's probably just too dicey with the executives thinking they can make a bunch of money on it being a total horror vehicle, I'm that's why you get all of the just oddball jokes and random stuff for your modern audience.
