This show sucks so bad I told a friend to just watch eps5 and think of it as a lifetime channel aliens movie.

He loved it and decided to watch it from the beginning and he kept getting mad and madder with every eps.

And I said, yea dude all the earth parts suck, haha

I've watched it all: unless you're an opening credits film student, there's absolutely nothing relevant, it's just kids (lol kids in adult bodies) figuring kid stuff.

So I finished watching this and I have mixed feelings about.

I think they did a good job with the setting, I liked the way it was filmed, there was tension and it felt like a Alien movie.

The story was all over the place at best being pretty weak, at worse to be totally stupid.

The characters overall just sucked, I didn't care about what happened to any of them. I hated all the kids.

Episode 5 was awesome.

I didn't care about the ending with the "Now we rule", although I'll admit to being somewhat curious to see how far they'll go with that idea.

Show needed more eyeball, most interesting character on the show. :)

I'm unlikely to watch a season 2, unless I hear it improved.

The writing really was shockingly bad. From the guy that did Fargo season 1 and 2 it's pretty shocking.

I hope they get another season because the show could be really good. Kid genius definitely has a way to turn them off, no way a control freak like him doesn't have a way to force control. Plus I want to see our retarded robo kids go destroy all humans.

Kid genius certainly acts like anything but a genius. Eyeball was the most interesting thing about this whole show. Alien powers now including some kind of weird android telepathy and controlling electronics is dumb

Really dumb considering they modeled them after ants who have no type of audible communication, they just use pheromones.

binged through the season, definitely a ton of flaws and "wtf?" but in binge mode i think you sorta can ignore the dumb shit and enjoy all the alien shit. Episode 5 was the tits, the alien fan-made movie we wanted the last few years but never got.

I definitely understand why people hate the finale, it felt like a mid season cliffhanger instead of a season end. too many people with plot armor.

hopefully they can build and make a better season 2 but likely s2 will be worse, its just the way these things have gone for most new shows. If they move to Weyland Yutani land it could be interesting.

if you're on the fence just view it as a mediocre, expensive budget weird fan TV show and i think you can mostly enjoy it, especially on a binge, especially around Halloween.

Can't say I give a shit about a single character, although I did enjoy Morrow, boy Kavalier (for being such a smug douchebag retard), Robot Raylan, and of course all the aliens. That was the real highlight, it was pretty awesome seeing 5 different alien species and wish we had way more of that. octoeye rules. I don't watch much horror and the show was really, really tense so many times although by the end the xenomorph felt too neutered, like a pet dog or some shit.

I watched through episode 5 and stopped. I enjoyed my experience.

Can justify recommending episode 5 only, maybe 1-4 if you want friends to see Timothy Olyphant being a badass. What could have been type scenario.

But absolutely tell them to avoid 6-8 it's worse than 'Part II' Death Note and ruins everything that came before.
