It's wildly GPU intensive. Even with not much going on...GPU load: 99%, CPU: 3%. I imagine this will improve with patches/drivers.

Edit: No idea why but this is running far more smoothly using borderless windowed fullscreen instead of fullscreen. GPU meter still pegged, tho.

I think I completed the campaign. The quests ended anyway.

It was rather short but it's basically a tutorial I assume.

In sandbox mode now and got a nice big starter island, will be fun housing it!

Real men use Playnite to combine all their launchers into one.

Anyway I'm not going to get this game for a year or so. The devs have said they don't want the complexity of 1800. So its like Anno1800--. I'll wait for some dlc to add some content.
This is probably a good approach, unfortunately. Like.. I feel like stuff is missing but I cant quite put my finger on what it is thats missing.

On another note altogether - is there a command to look at your village from a citizen's point of view? Saw some views from the trailer, and thought it would be really cool to walk around the city I built. But I cant seem to find the option?

I think it is Ctrl+shift+r.

My current main island. Will unlock T4 in a bit then I will need to redo the whole city center from scratch.

At Tier 4 now, will take some building in Albion to max their needs out now.

Started the Amphitheatre but after some "beautyfication" and adding all the big buildings for T4 I lost some workers, need to get up to 400 workers again now before I resume the project.

Today is the first day Ive really been able to sit down. Been playing since 5am this morning. Spent most of the morning trying to finish up the campaign, but when it took me BACK to my celtic province, I closed it and started a fresh endless map. About 30 minutes ago, I got up to tier 4 where you are and just the massive buildings just end up needing me to move everything around. I might end up just pausing the game and trying to jinga this shit out just so I can get a good jigsaw puzzle of what the hell the furthest point of the small radius building is that I have.

Somewhere along the way I started to question what the point of the second province was, much less expansion to another island.. when my own island is rich enough that it can just buy whatever it wants in trade goods. Are they putting more emphasis on combat, piracy or similar? I dont remember diving this deep into Anno 1800 - so Im guessing I didnt really play 1800 like I thought I did.

Yes I think its easier than Anno 1800 to get past Albion. But if you want to min max demanda then you need to get there.

I'm finishing Amphitheater soon and the last demands in T4 seems to need Albion for sure.

Played from 9am to 9pm... God damn my ass hurt.
