I tried watching it for the first time maybe 5 years ago and quit about halfway through.

I think it's one that you need nostalgia to kick in to enjoy. Something similar to Baron Munchausen for myself. It's not a great movie but I watched the shit out of it as a kid.

It will probably have the same issue as Willow: it’s banking on nostalgia while completely missing the mark on why people liked it originally

Athough I haven’t seen the Time Bandits show yet so who knows, maybe they’ll prove the above statement wrong

what an extremely bizarre show to renew but i'll take it, it was dumb as hell but i really enjoyed it for the vibes and the awesome car



Colin Ferrell is putting in a lot of work between this and Penguin

Don't bother. It could've been a slam dunk, with the "burnout loser professional athlete mentors young guy with tons of talent" and they couldn't help themselves. Sadly it started out decent, and I can't think of any shows about golf like this.

But holy shit they went whole hog on woke retardation. This should be a hard pass for everyone.

Couldnt agree more. People calling this Ted Lasso for golf are insane. The shows arent the same at all other than being about a sport. Ted Lasso was at least good for the first couple seasons. This show turns to shit quickly by episode 3.
