The thing is this goes for a lot of modern gachas, a lot of people play them on consoles/PC. Hell some of them run like shit unless you have the absolute best phones(like WuWa) but you can tell they do well on other platforms because they get awards and shit like that(since they usually don't make their actual sales numbers public). WuWa/ZZZ constantly get playstation awards for example and a few gachas make the list in Steam stuff every year(even when they don't even have Steam exclusivity).

I think it could be moved fine but I also think it's fine to have gachas here so people who don't care about gachas don't see them mentionned.

As for the news, nice free 5*. Not sure who I want to get, I have all standards other than LiFeng but I really don't care about him, on the flipside he's quite good for the non Endmin phys team. Dupes of other chars don't matter all that much either so maybe I'll grab him.

Rest is kinda whatever, lots of nice QoL though

Quite a few people do play this on phones and tablets. Tablets especially. One part of 'gacha' games is the 'maintenance mode' period where you've done most the content and all you are doing is logging in to do your dailies so that you can maximize your currency for the next banner and prep for the next story drop that is happening. A lot of people in Asian countries do this during their train commute to work etc. So while big boss fights etc might be difficult on all bet the newest phones and tablets its still keeps one foot very much in its mobile roots.

I think keeping it walled off here in the 'Gacha' quarantine zone isn't a bad idea unless it goes seriously mainstream. Though... with all the battlepass's, pay to purchase skins and other fomo mechanics in games these days the line of what is and isn't gacha is blurring. Looking at you FIFA.

FIFA and other EA similar products are definitely just sports gacha, no difference.

And I wasn't saying people don't play them on phones/tablets at all, just that a significant amount don't, but there's still a lot that do play on mobile devices, hell probably a majority just because of the roots of the games, especially the less action oriented games but even the action ones play decently well if your phone or tablet is good enough.

That's a good point. I wonder what % of the western audience plays on PC during content releases, but then switches to mobile during maintenance mode.

The zoom out is nice, but not what I wanted when I mentioned space. I'd like a simulated empty space the same size as the current AIC that I could plan out very large configs and save it as a blueprint.

In order to mess around like that I'd have to remove parts of my existing layout.

Right 6* sometimes I get confused when games have 6* since it's just the same thing with a higher number, hell there isn't even any 123.

I'll probably get Lifeng just to have them all. Sadly don't have any mats to build a 2nd team though, and this stupid Laevatein essence isn't popping, I think I'm like 30runs in and still don't have it, not too unlucky but not great either. I just want to get it so I can go back to farm xp materials and build more chars, I'm interested in both Last Rite and phys stuff but kinda stuck on essence farming for now just so I have a solid full team.

I haven't done any etching or artificing yet and I have been able to complete all of the content I've tried. Also don't have Pog or Endmin's signature weapons. Just gold sets on everyone and level 80.

They're adding harder content soon-ish though so I want the team to be done pretty much(well not done done, all the other chars are 70 and they skills are at like 6 cause that shit's too expensive) before I move on to another.
