I'm thankful everyday Im not that petty.Review bombed to shit, typical MMO release stuff.
You're delusional if you think a flood of new players isn't going to equate to a flood of ganking, lol.You will not get ganked alot the first week at all lol what? I have never been "ganked" in the year and a half ive played unless I was in a PVP flagged area or flagged myself. There may perhaps be some like lvl 1 shenanigans happening from the massive influx of players that is expected.
The game is beautiful, its one of the things that everyone who plays agrees on. The character models are perhaps a little dated, but the enemies are pretty well done IMO. Then again I surround myself with EQ peeps so maybe everything is beautiful to us in comparison.

While I know all things revolving around aesthetics is subjective, in this particular case, the game has dogshit character models / animations. This is an objective fact, especially if compared to what -is- possible. Now the game world is great.
It isnt. I know because im playing, are you? You're delusional if you think a flood of new players isn't going to equate to a flood of ganking, lol.
You've been playing with at most a few thousand other people who bought access, right? At most you've probably been on a server with 300 or so people prior to this, people who probably just want to "test" a game that gives them a hit of nostalgia. Give a much much larger group of people the chance to PvP is different than what you've been experiencing. Not sure why you're even contesting this. Also, in case you missed it in your rush to defend the game, I said such ganking would die off after a week (in this EA). On release, if there is a large playerbase, it will last a bit longer. It isnt. I know because im playing, are you?
I did say that lvl 1 shenanigans are probable though. But you wont see ganking at higher lvls, too much risk
Hm, I think very little of what you're going to experience in this EA will change drastically, unless they plan on staying in EA for the 4+ years. Stuff that will be changed are going to be system lvl stuff, graphics are set.Agree, if they weren't going to juice things up with modern graphics/animations they should have went with an art style where it isn't so obviously dated looking. Maybe in 2035 when/if this releases it'll look better.
No, I mean right now. I am playing right now with 25-30 people spread out across the starting areas. Noone is getting ganked anywhere. I understand you really want to be right, but you arent. You've been playing with at most a few thousand other people who bought access, right? For that many people, and as few servers as there are - whatever they have worked out on the back end is working pretty fantastic.Always like dual class systems, might grab this once it all shakes out. 25.5k peak players right now.
need to be lvl 10 to make guild, ill have it up sometime in the amAlrite who is doing guild invites
