Depends if they mean billing or not. If they mean billing it would go RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, then whoever. If they are talking about leader of the Avengers or the new team it could be Mr. Fantastic leading them. My guess is the former since they didn't say Thor and we know RDJ is a major character in the film so he wont get a "with" or an "and" billing. The order and with's and and's does matter contractually as dumb as it sounds.

edit. This came from a podcast with Feige, RDJ Doom is indeed the lead.

Pretty sure there's been press stories that Cap Marvel, Spidey, Cap Falcon, New Widow, and Reed are leading the team in the years and years Endgame. It all seems like empty 'Please be excited for the newest release!' PR nonsense.

(Ironically, it sounds like FF's PR has been filled with lies on that front as well, but for the good - Reed is the leader, and Johnny is straight.)

reed isn't leading the Avengers. i am pretty sure he has never lead the avengers in the comics either, but most of my comic knowledge ends about 15+ years ago.

Matt Shakman has been quick to pump the breaks on the hype train. The director clarified his comments in a chat with Screen Rant, remarking that he was only talking about Reed Richards’ evolution in the comics, not specifically his role in Avengers: Doomsday.

“So I actually didn’t say that… The internet ran with it. So the question asked me about casting Pedro and about, and I was talking about Reed Richards in the comic books and how Reed Richards is sometimes the cerebral scientist. Sometimes he’s off leading the Avengers, sometimes he’s a father, a husband, whatever.”

“So I was talking about him in the comic books and about how there are so many different aspects to that character. Somebody who is believably the smartest man in the universe, somebody who will jump into the action and be believable as a leader.”

“And also somebody who has that emotional connection to their family. And that’s why I was drawn to Pedro, such an incredible actor. So what he does in Avengers Doomsday is not for me to talk about, talk to Joe or Anthony. I was just talking about reading the comic books and how I was figuring out who could play him the best.”

yea if one of the themes is Doom running over Earths heroes cause they have no leader after Steve and Ironman are gone it wouldn’t shock me one bit
