I never really watched the movie but I feel like if Beta ray bill showed up to help defeat him it would have been insane freakout. instead they gave a bunch of retarded children the power.

There was higher players still saying BrB makes no sense. Unpopular opinion I still think the retardation of Adam Warlock is a smart move so he can slowing become god power. Oddly he might never show up since they are rebooting everything

It wasn't just the actors they wasted...

They took two of the most intense Thor story lines (Jane Foster Thor and Gor the Godbutcher) which both could have been really good stories on their own, they then tried to combine them, handed it to someone who obviously wanted to make a Thor RomCom and wasted both stories, all the actors performances, and all of the audiences time in the process.

Kinda stunning because I thought Ragnarok was really enjoyable, but apparently Waititi has since fallen prey to smelling too many of his own farts or something and decided two of what should have been solid and deep emotional stories to tell should be two sides of a RomCom/Running gag reel.

It was bad enough Hemsworth was openly saying he didn't want to play Thor again unless they could come up with some much better stories to tell with the character.

It's fan made because they AI'd footage to make it look more visible God dammit. It's the actual trailer but with AI effects. You guys are trying to make me nerd out. Watch the flipping cam trailers, all they did was clean the crap up. When you see the real trailer Scott doesn't have facial hair, that's it.

Its crazy how badly they blew thor post Endgame,

I fucking LOVED Broken, Survivor Guilt PTSD thor in IW and Endgame. And loved the idea of him going to the GOTG to try to find a new place in life.

Then they ruined him in that last film. the bones of the story, Thor coming to grips with Jane dying and finding a child to raise and that being his way of healing after literally everyone he ever loved or cared about died, and the Avengers are all dead, in the past or Hawkeye, and blaming himself for failing to save half of all life. In theory that could have been a banger of a story since Gorr blamed gods for failing to protect the weak and thor also blamed himself for that and had to learn that he was still worthy. but Waikka had to gay it the fuck up with comedy.

Love and Thunder worked well with the comedy I thought, but the story being told better allowed for that than the 4th movie for the reasons you pointed out. Love & Thunder probably also worked better because Waikka was being held back to a degree and after that did well, they loosened the reigns too much.
