Love and Thunder worked well with the comedy I thought, but the story being told better allowed for that than the 4th movie for the reasons you pointed out. Love & Thunder probably also worked better because Waikka was being held back to a degree and after that did well, they loosened the reigns too much.

I think you are mixing up Ragnarok and Love and Thunder

youre right to call out that scene. it perfectly exemplifies why that director sucks so much.

he turns everything he touches into a shitty modern cartoon. he takes world famous actors and million dollar special eeffects and produces a fucking childrens cartoon.

it really just shows his contempt for the audience and the subject matter. "Hey these man children like comic book stuff, lets make a cartoon for them! Witty banter! ADHD cuts! everythings a joke!"

How in the fuck did that make three quarters of a billion dollars? I couldn't even finish the clip that was so embarrassing.

I thought the MCU was bad, but I guess I didn't realize how bad. Holy shit. And that's apparently one of the better ones?

So what is going to be the deal with the babies? Mr. Fantastic’s kid was wanted by Galactus for reasons I don’t know because I haven’t seen the movie.
What about Caps kid or Thor’s kid?
Cyclops’ kid plays a major part in the X comics of the nineties given that the kid is Cable, is that baby going to play a role of some kind in this movie? Hope they at least reuse Thanos as Cable, he did a pretty good job in Deadpool 2.

And, more importantly, how are they going to fuck it all up making it fake and gay?

From an actual film standpoint its probably one of the worst. Worst part is at one point it wasnt going to be an adlibbed mess

I think Clue and then Legend for me. But I was a kid so I'm not completely sure.
So odd finding out a ton of the movies I loved in the 80s were flops. I don't know if legend was a complete failure but labyrinth and a ton of those were failures and I think Hensen* quit after that one

I thought they were the big time thing to watch when I was tiny, as a kid it felt like it was Star wars in a way. I love Star wars but I wasn't ever asking for those to be put on the tube.

No. It's like Captain Marvel and Multiverse of Madness where they made money based on pure momentum, not quality
