Liberation peak is a dog shit map that ends up being twinkle twinkle central.
They really toned down the explosive splash damage.
Hopefully they have a good bug patch coming for next weekend, the gadget bug is damn annoying. Along with hopefully dropping some form of realism game mode.

My problem is, the gunplay isn't as tight as COD, the maps are too COD-adjacent, and ttk is crazy fast in close quarters. It looks great though and I'm glad I don't have to kill a ninja turtle, nicky minaj or leo messi ala COD. Interested to see release maps and if these are just a bad representation of what we'll get eventually (I doubt it).

Yea I'm out. The constant cqc combat is too much and its not battlefield.
The map design feels like battlefront 2.

9bmaps at release and they all look cqc to me aside from firestorm. You know they are going to rape people on dlc maps.

i think years of COD has twisted me, while I used to love conquest mode in bf3/4 i didn't really enjoy it here at all.
i did however really like domination, faster paced, 10 mins max (6 mins usually for me), tight maps with no vehicles. but then you're basically just playing COD with shittier guns and perks
not sure what i'll do, i probably will enjoy bf6 for 2-3 weeks but then get bored and not play at all

I am having fun. Still not sure buy day 1, but will buy probably first month easily. I shockingly havent seen a obvious cheater yet.
I do wish like others for bigger maps, more spread out capture points. Given today's gaming, probably a DLC in the future.

I wouldn't count it out just yet. I'm really hoping the rest of the maps on release are a lot more open. I didn't like it that much at first, but once I got used to it, I was able to enjoy it more. Fighting in urban areas is a pretty realistic setting, wars just don't happen out in open fields and terrain anymore, unless it's like soldiers/marines up in the mountains of Afghanistan or somewhere similar. That's at least how I look at it, but like I said, I really want more open maps like you. It'll get claustrophobic after too long.

The maps were mostly fine. The annoying thing with the urban areas is the twitchy kids jumping around the corner and killing you before your brain can even process an enemy is there. I think that just has to do with us all getting old. The key is finding a good camping spot.
