Bought it; I fucking suck at this it's amazing. Oh, how far away my glory days on Unreal Tournament are!

Anyway : the game crashes a lot on my computer, like once every 3 matches, and the game randomly start again. Very buggy.

Question : is it me or SW: Battlefront 2 had better graphic than that, despite using more or less the same engine ?

I haven't crashed even once now that you mention it. I really liked BF2 graphics. I'd say they are about even. I'd give the nod to BF2 graphics because I (used to) love Star Wars!

The cognitive dissonance on these forums over the last five or so years has become sad. Ever since most of you officially entered your "boomerdom" era, it's like collective amnesia set in and turned into a full-blown epidemic. The way people rewrite history around here would make a Soviet propagandist blush. Bad Company 2 - you know, basically the 2nd or 3rd best FPS of all-time and the one everyone here genuflects to as the "last great shooter" before "the fall"? Well, it also had unlocks, my guy. Weapons, attachments, specializations, all of it. You had to actually play the damn game to get your toys.

But the funniest part isn't the revisionism, it's the unhinged self-contradiction. This forum loves to rail against "zoomers". Oh, those impatient little dopamine goblins who "want everything handed to them" and "don't understand what it was like back in our day." Yet the same people crying about the youth's lack of patience are also the ones throwing tantrums because their entire loadout isn't unlocked within 30 minutes of booting up.

And the kicker is if the game did unlock everything up front, people here would still complain. "Oh my god, everything's unlocked right away! These teeny-boppers have such an advantage! X gun is so OP!" You want the grind, but not the grind. You want nostalgia, but only the selective parts that don't require effort. You want to feel superior to a generation you barely understand while holding them to a standard you can't even meet yourselves.

Every time I see one of these threads, I don't even get mad anymore. I just marvel at the consistency of the inconsistency.

I don't think we forgot man, I think it was much quicker and you didn't mind because it was something to look forward to.

Let's use BC2 as you suggest. I will use the M60. It was OP out the box and if I remember didn't even have unlocks. So every LMG gun fan was happy. You worked on the other LMG attachments, that opened up pretty quickly, and gave tweaks as opposed to full blown 10000% increase in power!!!!

Lets use the AN94 (this was my go to gun for assault). It was just unlocked at 25? That's it. Or if you bought the gold edition or some shit, it was immediate. Again acceptable.

This shit here they trying with BF6? It's just some gay ass shit to obviously get you to purchase a battle pass or something.

If everything opened upfront I doubt people would care as long as the gameplay was great.

The solution really is you just get points toward your gun being used, that you spend on the attachments you want. Let you try the attachments prior to spending points in the firing range. That's it!

BF6 is still just straight up fun IMO. Needs more Valparaiso and Arica harbor type maps (Balanced and pretty fair for both sides.) Also waaay more larger maps.
