Beer, Wine and Spirits Thread

Try adding a splash of soda and a squeeze of fresh orange juice. My absolute favorite drink. It doesn't have to be the above whiskey, but that is an excellent choice. I range from Jim Beam to Maker's Mark. Good thread idea.

It changes for me depending on the season. Summer months calls for a good gin and tonic. Fall weather calls for whiskey of some sort. I prefer Scotch or Rye. I don't mind bourbon, but I often find it quite sweet. And there are times I bastardize it - a good camping drink for me is lemonade and bourbon. But I do also like a good vodka martini, preferably with a lemon twist. I don't think I have one favourite.

I.W. Harper 15yr. I live in Kentucky so I can get it for around 75$. No ice or mixer needed.

It's not bad... but...ahh...

But I have yet to just plop down 100$ for a bottle either, and with all this stuff goin down I have not been anywhere to buy a drink etc and try.

I love most scotch and Irish whiskey with Lagvulin 16 at the top of the list.

Tastes too much like caramel to me.

I recommend Glen Grant for a mild whiskey. Red Label for a smokey whiskey.

I want to try this, but no one has it in stock on any delivery app in my area... sad...

When I drank, I was a Johnny Walker guy myself. It was probably just the first name brand scotch I tried, and they had it in every bar.

That and cheap fireball shots when I was out with friends.

have you tried the Ardbeg Traigh Bhan ? Probably the best whisky I tasted this year. Beat hands down some very old, over priced stuff.
