Two factions is iconic to WoW and core to the vanilla experience, removing it would kill what is left of the WoW feel.

You have valid critisisms though, they just managed it poorly.

Warmode was a good first step, you definitely should be able to cross faction group with it turned off and even have neutral mercenary guilds... but there always needs to be enemy territory and you always should have a way to turn world PvP back on by going back into Warmode.

Easiest way out for Blizzard on the legacy WoW franchise is to either forget it or make a Warcraft 4 RTS set in the future and start over with a simple world again in the form of WoW 2.

Well in theory, starting off BFA with Sylvanas burning the World Tree painted them into a corner with the character and they've had to try to play damage control all throughout Shadowlands ever since. Or something.

wow lore always sucked. They just made really badass cutscenes is all I know. When the cutscenes started sucking too, then it just became all out cringe.

That one thrall marriage thing and its cutscenes was just so fucking cringe.

Leading a gagglefuck of retards through WoW progression was no less stressful, especially when WotLK rolled around and he finally realized that his most problematic raiders weren't from the infusion of new blood, but rather were long time vets of the guild.
