There isn't much known about this game, but what we do know is that the heart and soul of the Witcher III and Cyberpunk 2077 were created by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and Robert Murzynowski whom are heading up this project (they left CDPR in 2022).

The concept is fantastic and we'll know a bit more in a month, but here's a video with what's known and some speculation.

*Edit* After doing some more research, it looks like the new studio (Rebel Wolves) poached a lot of the senior talent responsible for Witcher III. Including the technical and art leads. That's huge.

Do you know what I find most intriguing about the trailer? The STORY. They set up a ton of stuff just in the trailer that make it worth at least playing once.

Um, the ugly harpy that looked at a guy and squeezed him to death from 30 yards away fits that bill perfectly.

Like the setting, not enough (any?) great vampire titles. Happy to support former CP2077/W3 developers, hope they have more to show soon.

Hate the urgency/30 day time limit stuff. Urgency is good in small doses; for a whole game, fuck you. I am already "middle-aged". I don't need to worry about another ticking clock in my free time. The story seems to have the potential to be good but I am leery of "shades of gray" story in the "Modern Audiences" era.

We'll see but went from "excited" to "wait for reviews".

Bro, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. I play it once every few years and still have a great time.

Additional comments: Everything sounds great on paper and the trailer was good /shrug but there are some things in the list that sound like design decisions that were made early on because of trends or market conditions. Is this a Metaphor:Refantazio/Persona thing? I just can't express how much I hate this as a concept but seemingly without the time limit people love Metaphor/Persona; I started it but the time thing got in my way and I never played it again after getting to the first mine/fort thing past the city because I wanted to carve out an optimal path. This will hit that nerve even harder.

So you're Medieval Blade that only use vampire powers at night.Weird but I got it.

"Explore the environment" means there are places and puzzles that can only be solved at day/night. Vampires sound cool in concept but "shades of gray" is probably going to be "trying to make the bad guys good/complicated". Thanks Shadow Wolves/GRRM, we all needed Vampire Tywinn Lannister with Shadow of Mordor Nemesis AI.

I mean this could be a good story/good game but it seems like they are making a ton of decisions that require hyper-amazing execution to pull off.

The ultimate question is do these mechanics make the game experience more fun or less fun? We'll see but I am not hopeful after this intro.

Time as a resource is a huge fail.
Eh, sounds more to me like time advances on quest completion, thus sort of "limiting" the amount of quests you can complete each run.

It's an interesting way to add replayability to the game.
