I mean its a looter shooter but its nothing like Destiny. Its more of a arpg type looter shooter. While destiny is more of an mmo. And the OG Borderlands came before Destiny.

I prefer Borderlands to Destiny, by some distance. Seems to be reviewing pretty well so will definitely pick this up.

Wait on it - it is reported as having a shit ton of PC issues. Unless you are going console.

Yeah, it sounds like optimization is in the toilet. I was considering picking this up for a buddy of mine so we could play, but after researching further it definitely goes into the "wait and see" category.

Same. I am going to watch as it launches but right now everyone is crashing to Desktop from the comments on the Steam discussion page. Also looks like people cannot save their settings either.

Got to the open world, few minor stutters loading in the open world but nothing major. Dlss performance, 4k, 5070ti. Game looks great, handles great, and is performing ok so far. Just got claptrap in open world though so we'll see.

For the first 3 they were different! Apparently this one was 'inspired' by Destiny for game mechanics, and BG3 for story. So you have insta summonable bikes that look and sound like the Destiny 2 one, and other similar mechanics, with a story beginning and middle that sounds suspiciously like BG3 but more modern. ....Just from a few 144p videos I've seen at work (our internet proxy was a half dead Commodore 64 in Vietnam this week)

Yeah, after the latest update to the client I haven't had so much as a hitch to be honest. And I'm not on some bleeding edge rig, and I'm playing at 4k. Game is pretty much Borderlands in an open world with a destiny bike to travel around on. My only "beef" so far is hit and miss humor, so typical BL.
