It definitely does, I found one of those at lvl 43 and it was the only thing i used/am still using at lvl 50.

They def need to tune some weapon and weapon types because of this reason. Speaking of purples here, yeah there is a billion variations but only like 1000 are worth anything. Some manufacturers are just auto delete for me without even looking at them. Anything with a charge time, like Torque or Ripper parts just feels bad and just does not feel right, at least for me.
Same with snipers. But that just could be me. But it seems like anything in this game is just close up. And if its not, its about to be real quick. Shit B-lining towards you kamikaze style. And this shit does not lend itself to snipes, or at least ADS with long range scopes.. Snipes, at least IMO need to be head shot=kill. And some are, but some are not. They have small magazines and long reload times to boot.
For me at least, I find the non charging variety of SMG, AR, shotty to be the best. Some of the pistols can be good too.

Yeah ripper parts and torgue are insta delete for me too. As far as snipers go, hot slugger is more accurate than most of the sniper rifles you just gotta learn it's travel time.

I don’t like torgue at all, but I’ve been using the Convergence shotgun with Harlowe and it absolutely shreds, despite the ripper wind up.

Unit sales are half what BL3 did in its first week. Budget of game $280M. They have a long way to go just to recoup costs.

Willing to bet 90+% of the sales have been the day one loyal fanbase crowd who keeps buying it no matter what. Like why would I want to buy this right now as someone who can live without it? It's a mess and even discounted it's simply not appealing.

Meh, I think you are wrong here brosef. The game is fun and has tons of content. Like TONS of content. This is not some shit game they just churned out and threw together. IT feels like an MMO. Different areas, tons of side quests, general main quest. Tons of weapons. The price of admission is definitely worth at least one play through. Why would you want to buy this? Because its like the best game in the franchise by a long fucking mile. Thats why. How is this game a mess? I went through it with 2 characters and its not a mess. Yeah, end game some shit is broken, like certain interactions are OP as fuck. But it will get fixed. I had a blast playing this game and the last one I played was 2. And this one is MILES above that one.
Can you live without it? Yeah its a fucking game. Of course you can live without it. LOL

It's great fun but for the most part not memorable. Except the two bosses we did so far (two player co-op). They are cool but the last one took like 15 min, wtf.
The half-invisible doggie bastard. Every time his shield was down we got like 10 percent of his health.
