If you asked me a week ago what the death count would be from a WMD detonated in a mass of 2000 people I'd guess around 2000 people.

You do realize that IEDs are very terrible weapons in terms of actual death and destruction, right? They would of killed more people if they tried running them over with cars or just randomly fired into the crowd with a gun.

Except it wasn't the IED's that shut anything down. Only a few blocks were shut down, after the marathon. The city was shut down for a man hunt.
