Baby Jesus, please let this be good. I backed the comic Kickstarter and the concept is pretty interesting, and since the character is already Keanu this should be a no-brainer.

Isn't this based on the comic book created by Keanu Reeves and some other guy? I think they must have been influenced by a very popular book series from the 70s–80s by Barry Sadler called Casca Longinus: The Eternal Mercenary, about a Roman legionary who is the one to thrust his spear into Jesus and is condemned to walk the Earth until they meet again.
