This is very true, I think the issue is more that she decided being in command was too 'masculine' so she would hug it out and let things go. This just does not work.

It's not fair to the subordinates either as well as not being productive.

If you're the boss, you're the boss. If you sign the checks and if you're the one who the creditors are going to come to in their time you don't get to divest yourself of that responsibility. And it is a responsibility.

You could (and can) run an egalitarian commune of a business. And honestly they tend to work best. Just not that way.
