They were basically a shitty version of Collective Soul.

Edit: Not to derail this, but I just skipped through that video about what happened to them, and I saw one recommended about Gin Blossoms. It was in the mid-2000's, on Fort Campbell, they did some concert series on base and we went. Gin Blossoms was one of the bigger bands there, and I remember how insanely sad it was. There couldn't have been more than 100 people there and it was on this giant field. They had maybe a dozen or two people at the stage and everyone else was mostly families with their kids doing other shit not even paying attention.

My wife and I still laugh about it almost 20 years later about how sad it was. They were a massive band a decade before and couldn't even pull 50 people to see them.

The lead singer's ex-girlfriend was my escrow officer for the first house I bought in the early 2000's. I think he name was Linda Key or Linda McKey she worked for Old Republic Title in Seattle, absolute smoke show.

Not from the 90s though. Music in the 90s was pretty much shit across the board. Rap was shit, pop was and will always be shit, grunge was absolutely fucking shit, rock was shit, metal was shit, country is always shit.

80s were SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER

Nirvana - trash and overrated.
RHCP - This was their only good album
Pearl Jam - Trash rehashed trash
Soundgarden - Trash (His solo shit was much better)

Metallica - Black album is trash and I'm beyond tired of hearing fucking Enter Sandman

With exception of Pantera everything you listed is trash.

I don't know how the fuck anyone listened to Smashing Pumpkins. He's annoying fucking nails on a chalkboard voice. Gross.
