They were basically a shitty version of Collective Soul.
Edit: Not to derail this, but I just skipped through that video about what happened to them, and I saw one recommended about Gin Blossoms. It was in the mid-2000's, on Fort Campbell, they did some concert series on base and we went. Gin Blossoms was one of the bigger bands there, and I remember how insanely sad it was. There couldn't have been more than 100 people there and it was on this giant field. They had maybe a dozen or two people at the stage and everyone else was mostly families with their kids doing other shit not even paying attention.
My wife and I still laugh about it almost 20 years later about how sad it was. They were a massive band a decade before and couldn't even pull 50 people to see them.
