It's repulsive. If I ever saw a commercial with that I'd stay away from the product.I want to hate that....but I can't.

I’d rather dumb/crazy than Macdonalds/Pepsi/etc “look how great/cool your life is with our product”. That said, commercials generally induce a negative response toward the product from me.It's repulsive. If I ever saw a commercial with that I'd stay away from the product.
Ai is going to be far more devastating to humanity than cell phones have been so far.![]()

Just wait til the next big jump.Ai is going to be far more devastating to humanity than cell phones have been so far.
We're almost there now. A massive amount of social media interaction, especially amongst "hot button" social/political topics, are entirely AI driven. It won't be long until that permeates to all aspects of internet discourse.I see a future where the majority of human activity and human interaction is AI scripted - where humans are purely meat puppets for the AI instructions.
you joke. but i legit see business leaders in finance talking about agentic pre sales to agentic sales to close on all sorts of trades. not sure its legal, how it will work etc. but holy shit.Just wait til the next big jump.
Your cell phone analogy is perfect. The internet was basically fine until they put it in everybodys pocket.
Portable AI powered apps are going to do something similar for the destructive potential of AI. I see a future where the majority of human activity and human interaction is AI scripted - where humans are purely meat puppets for the AI instructions. And its basically inevitable unless something catastrophic changes our current trajectory.
That's the big thing about the current ai craze, it's just completely ignoring all legal and regulatory issues. It's like self driving cars and violating traffic laws.you joke. but i legit see business leaders in finance talking about agentic pre sales to agentic sales to close on all sorts of trades. not sure its legal, how it will work etc. but holy shit.
Facebook. Was it Microsoft that picked up terrabytes of digital copywrited stuff to train their AI but it was "okay" because they didn't seed it out and share it with others. But for them it was okay.
I'm not joking at all. Society is enthusiastically running as fast as it can toward a huge fucking cliff. When I point this out, people tell me get out of the way old man.you joke. but i legit see business leaders in finance talking about agentic pre sales to agentic sales to close on all sorts of trades. not sure its legal, how it will work etc. but holy shit.
And yet college students today think outsourcing your cognitive abilities to Skynet makes them "clever." That is the next generation.![]()
