Almost all pictos are multiplicative, so stacking as much % increases as you can gets you 1 shotting most things and is what most people end up doing. The inverted one that prevents you from healing and 'second chance' + auto-die along with buffs on revive and bonus damage below 30% health are pretty big.

If you're only doing 10% of something's total life in the first round as a glass cannon, there's some massive improvements you need build wise

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid just doing the crazy 1-shot builds and cheesing everything since that just doesn't feel as fun, but I need to get more lumina points on everyone for sure. I've been hoarding the fuck out of them. Been working on Endless Tower, and fuck 5-3 can suck my goddamn balls. Definitely a severe case of git gud.

Don’t hoard the lumina points. Use them on your three favorite people and stack up your pictos.

Honestly, Sprong is the one who opens up the rest of the game. Which kind of makes it a giant pain in the ass. I'd keep grinding it out til you kill him, and from there everything will seem easier.

Insane all the lefties have gone bananas over the ai, pay no mind that often times it's churning shit out better than their DEI hires or if it's ubisoft etc they are just stealing art anyways.

so the half a fag 1 armed guy you start with and the flying barefoot chick (terrible with names) you get next, can you reset all their points and stuff if you realize you've fucked up assessing skills? That is my whole issue, this game is so fucking weird I am not sure if I am doing the right thing or not. I don't want to grind out 30 hours of stuff only to find out, I picked skills that suck.

BTW the flying barefoot chick , all I can think of is I bet the real person (if it wasn't AI) had hairy legs and armpits . blech..................

You get a bunch of respec items. Not sure if they're infinite, but its at least a double digit amount

They made a statement to the Spanish news site El Pais a few months ago , that somehow went under the radar.

Sandfall Interactive further clarifies that there are no generative Al-created assets in the game. When the first Al tools became available in 2022, some members of the team briefly experimented with them to generate temporary placeholder textures. Upon release, instances of a placeholder texture were removed within 5 days to be replaced with the correct textures that had always been intended for release, but were missed during the Quality Assurance process.

Yeah you can reset. You get enough points and the game is forgiving enough that you probably won’t even need them more than once or twice, if ever. I used one on someone just to try different skills and you get dozens of the respec item. At a certain point you have nearly everything and have your people set up how you like them so they aren’t really necessary at all eventually.

yea, the gaming media is now using "burn the ai art! as an excuse to go after everyone they don't like. even though literally every studio is going to be using AI in their process because photoshop now tries to encourage you to use AI every chance it can.
