Yup... I liked Strong, but he's very defense oriented and not great at offense, so he has to rely on a great offensive coach to offset his weakness. The opposite of the coach that replaced him (I'm one of the few happy to have Petrino back).
FSU isn't looking to great either. Looking good, but not great. I think they are an amazing team, but overall overrated (but winning the national title, you have to be a #1 rank the next year).

Notre Dame's offense looked pretty good - that quarterback is really a weapon! He can run it, and holy mother of god, he can throw it. Some seriously amazing plays.

How drunk are you? Our defense looks vastly improved. Offense will come along, just not a ton of explosive players right now. If South Carolina was defending us it would be 35-0 at half.

Florida State is taking Oklahoma State out for a ride. Second quarter was a little more even, but, dang. Florida State has really amazing speed and strength. I think the second half is going to be a massacre.

Can't say I know a lot, I however know a little bit about their coach. Just making an observation earlier on in the game, they definitely have picked it up quite a bit more in this game, so calm the fuck down.
FSU has definitely stepped up too. Guess they were both a tad rusty at the beginning due to being a season opener.

Just misread your post. Tried to edit quickly but halftime killed the internet. Loving what Strong is doing and offense is much more open than I thought it would be. Only thing I'm disappointed in is the oline, but one of our starters is suspended. Having two WRs kicked off the team really liked our WR core, but, unlike OU, we kick players off for violence against women.

I like how he cleaned house when he got there. He may have burned and pissed off some donors and whatnot, but think it was ultimately right for the program. People negatively criticize Louisville (Strong & Petrino) for bringing in troubled athletes (we are a 'second-chance school' it seems), but what people don't see is that those players haven't had any issues since coming here because of how the coaches (Strong for instance) handled them and their behavior, setting massive expectations. He definitely put that mantra to use in Texas (the drug testing before the season and then a few weeks from the start of the season to see if people followed through). Most coaches would do that as a PR stunt or never fully follow-through, but he sure did.

We play that well against South Carolina and we might have a pretty good year. I was pleasantly surprised at how well UGA did in the 2nd half.
If that is any indication of what we have in store from the defense and special teams... man. Great Day to be a Dawg.
