I love the entire experience. As much as I love watching the NFL on tv, watching MSU football home games is irreplaceable.

Well, I hate being in this conference. We don't belong there......regional rivalries are all gone for my team.
There are no teams in the B12 that are hateworthy. Pitt, Penn State, VT, having rivalries is what makes CFB special....instead we are an eastern team playing a bunch of cattle herding cowboys from the midwest.
The Big8/B12 had some great teams and history, but we are not a part of it. Nebraska etc playing in the east and us playing in the midwest just shows how fucked up cfb is now.

MSU had particularly great home games this year. UM, OSU, and Nebraska. Part of the allure for me is that I've been going to games since the 80s, and we've never been this good. It's impossible to take the recent success for granted.

I only half agree. Being in the B12 is way fucking better than the big east was. Pitt was the only interesting game. Playing every other team in that conference was boring as fuck. UCONN followed by Rutgers followed by Syracuse followed by South Florida is a schedule shitty enough to make me not even want to watch. If I had to choose between the big east with none of the teams leaving and the B12 and never playing Pitt again the choice would be easy.
A true eastern conference with something like us, Pitt, Penn state, Miami, VT, etc would be fucking sweet though.
Edit: after writing that I remembered how much I resent Miami, VT, and the ACC for killing the big east. Fucking douches.

Kansas isn't midwest either you idiot. The midwest states came from the Northwest Territory and were only 5 states: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The Big12 is made up of Southwest and Great Plains states. Fucks sake, man, who taught you geography??
