Good god. This was the only OU game I went to this year, and it is the first time I've left a game early. I left with 3 minutes left in the 3rd. The coaches were so terrified that Baylor was going to bomb away for quick touchdowns that they let them have anything they wanted underneath....for slightly slower touchdowns. I would at least be okay with losing if we would have made Petty beat us throwing difficult passes with an all-out blitz in his face every down, but going down like a bunch of pussies is really pissing me off.
So do you reckon it's time for a coaching change?! The program is in an odd/interesting place right now - 5m is a lot to pay someone who seems to be underachieving severely recently. Today was like the players and coaches flat quit.

No, I'm not an idiot like a lot of OU fans. Who can OU get that is better than Stoops? If Texas can't get any better than Strong, OU would have to try to grab an up-and-comer like Stoops was 15 years ago. I also don't think he somehow forgot to coach, I just think he and the coaching staff have such high expectations that they are afraid to take chances. OU lost to Baylor today because they were playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Until that changes, OU is going to win 9-10-11 wins a year and never seriously contend for a championship. The question is, do the Stoops brothers still have it in them to play like their jobs depend on it.

On the topic within the NFL thread about WR's and the Louisville game being on, DeVante Parker is going to be a beast in the NFL. Huge wingspan (80 inches), tall, runs a sub 4.40, incredibly strong. Put some NFL conditioning on him and he'll be an absolute monster.

If we never run the goddamn read option again on a play it will be one fucking play too late.
