It's official.

(1)Alabama vs (4)Ohio St in New Orleans (Sugar Bowl)

(2)Oregon vs (3)Florida St in Los Angeles(Rose Bowl)

#5 was Baylor
#6 was TCU

TCU dropped 3 spots by playing 2-10 Iowa St.

Big 12, get 2 more teams ASAP

I am glad it won't be a FSU vs Bama' bowl, that would have been stupid. I'd rather see them play eachother in the Championship and hopefully see Alabama get demolished so we can stop hearing about how dominant the SEC W compared to everyone else. I think FSU and Bama should be slipped, or FSU and Oregon should be flipped, but I'll take this as it works out the same either way. Either way, having a SEC AD as the chairman of the Selectin Committee will always make sure to put the SEC in the forefront.

Perfect final 4.. I think they got it right... As much as I can't stand the buckeyes.. They have been awesome for 5 weeks now. That running back is crazy good and the defense has improved a lot.. Love the urban vs saban matchup... Also.. Oregon is going to blow FSU out.. Alabama vs Oregon for final... Will also be a sweet game game

ESPN just asked the playoff committee chair about lack of B12 championship game

he said "We don't deal in hypotheticals about a game that didn't exist, but let me just say that Ohio States performance in a 13th game against a quality opponent is what put them in the playoff"

So which 2 schools not already in a Big 5 Conference is willing to suck DeLoss Dodds' dick to get in?
I'm sure Cincinnati would join regardless of how awful Texas makes the conference situation for everyone else. Same with Boise State, but not sure Big 12 would want Boise State.

I find it somewhat humorous that the prevailing theory is that Urban Meyer left Florida because he didn't want to deal with Alabama and Saban as a hurdle for getting to the national title game each year.

Now, Urban is matched up with Alabama in a semifinal game as a hurdle for getting to the national title game.

Good times

There really aren't 2 good choices out there that make any sense. Cincinnati would be a good choice, but beyond that...ugh. You'd be looking at someone like UCF or USF probably, maybe Memphis, which don't make much sense in the B12. The most realistic scenario is poaching two teams from the AAC conference

It has to be 2 teams that do not threaten UT's already mediocre position in the Big 12. There is NO WAY UT allows Boise State into the conference after seeing what has happened since TCU joined. UT will never allow another mid-major team to come in and dominate them the way TCU has. Sorry Boise St., UT would be way to butt-hurt to allow you in.

Add the university of Houston and Tulane. All you want is bottom feeders, right?

FSU and bama deserve their spots.

Yeah, no chance Texas lets another Texas school in. No Houston/SMU/Rice/UTEP/North Texas. I still can't believe they let TCU in, you better believe they are regretting that choice already.

Good lord is this real life?? While I'm crazy hyped right now I certainly don't expect lightning to strike twice and see the third stringer play like that against Bama lol. Amari Cooper is gonna have a field day against this secondary like Sammy Watkins did last year but I'm looking forward to seeing Osu's Dline against Bama's Oline.

Bob Bowlsby(B12 commish) just interviewed on ESPN by Reece Davis. When asked about stating that the league would have "One True Champion" back before the season, Bowlsby replies "I looked at the video and I mis-spoke. We have co-champs"

Solid backpedal.

What a clownshow

If the Big 12 (a.k.a. UT) doesn't expand to 12 teams asap, Baylor and TCU should immediately start looking for another conference. They don't fit in the Big 10 and I doubt the SEC is looking to expand again, but I bet the PAC 12 would like to have a Texas connection. And I'm sure the ACC would like a presence in Texas as well for recruiting purposes.
